The highest optical efficiency in the industry! Samsung launches three enhanced CSP LED products

A few days ago, Samsung Corp launched three new enhanced CSP (FEC) LED products: ---LM101B, LH181B and LH231B. Samsung said these products have reached the highest optical efficiency in the industry.

Compared with the traditional LED encapsulation, CSP LED has relatively low efficiency, so it can not be widely used in the mainstream LED lighting market. However, the newly upgraded FEC LED can be applied to most mainstream LED lighting environments, including environmental lighting, down lights, spotlights, high canopy lights and street lighting applications.

It is reported that the enhanced FEC LED adopts the latest CSP technology of Samsung Corp, and forms TiO (titanium dioxide) white walls around the side of the chip to guide the light output up. The technology can provide higher optical efficiency than traditional CSP LED and provide greater flexibility for lamp designers.

Samsung said that the upgraded FEC LED package has achieved the highest level of luminous efficiency in the industry and adapted to a wider range of lighting applications.

The optical efficiency of 1W LM101B increased to 205 LM / W (65mA, CRI 80+, 5000K), the highest in 1W class CSP CSP LED.

3W class LH181B also achieves the highest luminous efficiency in similar products, 190lm / W (350mA, CRI 70+, 5000K), which is more than 10% higher than the previous version.

The 5W level LH231B package continues to provide 170lm / W (700mA, CRI 70+, 5000K) optical efficiency, which is also the highest 5W level optical efficiency in the industry. (compile: LED net James)
