The new peak efficiency of LED driver is 93%

The Fairchild company (FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR) days before the launch of LED FAN5607 parallel constant current drive. This product provides analog and PWM brightness control for ultra portable LCD backlight applications. FAN5607 charging pump has three modes of operation to achieve peak efficiency of 93%. Even if the drive is less than four LED, the device's internal auto induction circuit can maintain high efficiency, and to ensure that the current range in the LED to achieve current matching.

FAN5607 has built-in over-voltage protection function and shutdown mode, soft start and short circuit protection function. Low ground current and shutdown mode help to extend battery life and improve reliability. FAN5607's lead free package exceeds the IPC/JEDEC standard requirements of J-STD-020D and meets the EU standards which will take effect in 2005.
