Toshiba and Semitron sign distribution agreement

Toshiba electronics company in Europe, has announced that the company has signed an agreement with Semitron W Roeck GmbH, which will serve as Toshiba in Germany and Switzerland distribution partners. The aim is to expand Toshiba's distribution network in order to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

TEE plans to sell its full range of semiconductor products through Semitron, including discrete devices, optoelectronic devices, power devices, microcontrollers, LED drives and system LSI chips. Toshiba said that the decision to choose Semitron is the company's design-in experience, as well as in Germany and Switzerland to improve market, sales and application expertise.

Cooperation between Toshiba and distributors, the focus has shifted from the beginning to get professional support. Responsible for Toshiba's European channel strategy Colin Brinks explained, "in the distribution market, our products from standard and mature commodity products to application oriented products and technology transfer. Brinks said that in the application oriented and design and conceptual support, Semitron can provide a very good help.
