Toshiba is committed to enhancing LED lighting sales in 2020 to $9 billion 500 million

Japan Toshiba President Nishida Atsushi said in June 5th, the company engaged in 12 years, through the expansion of overseas sales, the general use of light emitting diode (LED) to improve the lighting and other energy-saving bulb sales to 1 trillion yen ($9 billion 500 million). Toshiba said the sales target is equal to 20% of the global market for the next generation of lighting in 2020. The company is currently in the global market share of only a single digit percentage of low-end, competitors, including General Electric (GE), PHILPS and OSRAM, etc.. Nishida Atsushi said, we have a technical advantage, is currently in our lighting business to win the global share of the opportunity. He also said that Toshiba's focus on Russia, China and Japan's growth.
