U.S. construction electrical contractors believe that LED has an alternative feasibility

Published shows in the United States ELectrical Contractor magazine in an article of 700 building electrical contractor survey, many contractors believe that led is now ready to replace the incandescent lamp and fluorescent lamp ready, and will be ready in the fall of 2012. In the survey, 33% of the building electrical contractor said that LED is ready to replace the incandescent lamp, 23% of respondents said LED will be ready to replace the compact fluorescent lamp (CFLs), and 19% of the respondents said the LED will replace the fluorescent lamp.

Another 33% of respondents believe that LED will be ready to replace the traditional light source within the next two years. The rest of the respondents said that LED lighting will be in much later work or do not know exactly what LED is feasible, that LED is not feasible in these respondents, 19% of respondents said the high cost is a factor, while 10% of people mentioned that LED need to improve performance.

Lighting is an inherent part of building electrical work. 97% of respondents said they would be included in the work of indoor or outdoor lighting, 95% of the work will include lamps, the ballast will be included in the 85%, the respondents will be included in the work of the lighting control system 93%.

45%~60%'s building electrical contractors perform all the lighting functions, including the purchase, specification and installation of lighting products, 90% of the construction of the chamber of Commerce to carry out part of the lighting project. Fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps are the most common types of lamps used in construction projects, while LED is the least used.
