US $200 billion for tariff list (related to lighting industry)

The Trump administration in the United States recently issued a list of 10% tariff recommendations on 200 billion US dollars in China's US products, which are shown in the following table of products related to the lighting industry.

The control table covers most of the lighting industry related products except for incandescent light source (HS Code: 853922 and 853929 etc.) and LED replacement light source (HS Code: 85395000). The export of the above products accounts for about 75% of the total total export of China's lighting products, more than $30 billion, of which exports to the United States account for nearly 80% of the total exports to the United States and over $8 billion.

It is important to note that the list of recommended products for the $200 billion tax is still in the consultation stage, and the whole process will last for about two months, and the process will be completed in August 30, 2018. Since then, it is possible for the United States to take practical action. In the last two months, there are various uncertainties in whether to levy taxes and to tax the specific products.
