Vishay launches new series power surface mount LED

Vishay launched a new series of power surface mount LED, these devices greatly improved the heat and brightness. The new VLMx32xx device with lead frame PLCC 4 package, the package is designed to provide ultra low thermal resistance as low as 290 K/W and power up to 200mW is optimized, which can achieve high drive current up to 70mA, and brightness than existing SMD LED products doubled. For automotive applications, VLMx32xx devices have been certified by AEC-Q101 automotive standards.

The new high strength LED is light yellow and yellow two, can be used for traffic signals and signs; internal and external lighting; lighting inside and outside the car; the indicator and the backlight of audio and video, telecommunications and office equipment, lighting, advertising, LCD, switch and general sign plane backlight.
