Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, plans to replace the city's lighting more deeply, with the goal of halving lighting costs by about $2 million a year.

Wellington municipal spokesman Paul Glenny said that the taxpayers will be able to benefit directly from the cost savings, the first consideration in the municipal road was lighting replacement, the future may also be extended to the coastal region.
