Zetex launched 350mA easy to use high-power Mini LED driver

An external resistor of the ZXLD1350 can accurately set the output current, thus simplifying the driving process of high power LED. Input power supply voltage from 7V to 30V drives can generate up to 350mA of adjustable output current, supporting up to 8 1W LED link strings.

The switching regulator uses a 2.9 x 2.8 mm area TSOT23 pin package, a high degree of integration means that the switching regulator can be used in the space is extremely limited application environment. The device integrates a 30V NDMOS switch and a high voltage side current sense circuit with a current control accuracy of +/-4% and requires only 4 external circuit elements.

The working temperature of ZXLD1350 is from 40 DEG C to +105 DEG C, and the temperature tolerance is higher than that of the same solution by more than 20%. In addition, it can support 30V continuous supply voltage and 40V surge voltage for the most stringent industrial or automotive applications.

LED lighting applications require dimming or more complex control properties, so ZXLD1350 provides a variety of control strategies specifically for designers. By using the DC voltage or PWM (pulse width modulation) filter element of the PWM waveform, the device on the multi-function control pin can be effectively regulated on the output current. In addition, only by adding a capacitor between the control pin and the ground, the inherent soft start time of the ZXLD1350 can be prolonged, and the output of the logic low signal pin can be used to turn off the output of the device.
