06 global semiconductor revenue increased by $7.4% to $254 billion 700 million

Yesky April 8th news (Champaign compiled), according to Bloomberg news, market research firm iSuppli said on Friday, 2006, the global semiconductor industry revenue from $237 billion 100 million in 2005 to $254 billion 700 million, an increase of 7.4%. ISuppli expects 2007 global semiconductor revenue will grow by nearly 12% compared to 2006, reaching $285 billion 200 million. Global electronics revenue is expected to grow 5.9% this year, compared with last year's $7.8%.
