CES 2008:Luminus release a variety of LED display products

This week, held in Las Vegas in 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Luminus Devices has released a variety of consumer and professional level using PhlatLight LED display technology products, including a large screen LCD backlight module, and a variety of orthographic projection TV machine.

Luminus released LCD TV PhlatLight LED backlight module (BLU), its biggest feature is the integration of Microlens optical waveguide technology Global Lighting Technology company, with the traditional LED products in order to achieve high brightness and uniformity of the hundreds of thousands of hundreds of LED chip than the large size LCD screen is only 8 by side light type lighting system chip. Because of the need for less LED, so the cost of BLU and large screen LCD backlight complexity greatly reduced, while because of the use of side lighting, so that LCD TV with a lighter design becomes possible.

In this exhibition, Samsung Electronics has also demonstrated a new DLP TV prototype to improve brightness, size up to 67 inches, is the industry's largest LED rear projection TV display on the CES. These prototypes are using PhlatLight LED third generation LED DLP tv.

Luminus also released a lighter home LED projector, the product more than 700 luminous flux standard (ANSI) lumens, and the projector system is expected in 2008 more than 1000 lumens.

Luminus is expanding its influence in the portable small projector market, the release of 4 new prototypes at the show, and was adopted by LG, Samsung, iNnoswELl and Upstream Engineering. The company will also release several DLP projectors, is a unique new projector (Pico), and will be the first to use PhlatLight LED lighting projector 3LCD. In addition, there are reports that these projectors will use the newly released PT54 chip, so that its brightness increased to 150 lumens, or even higher, almost the traditional LED technology products brightness of more than 10 times.
