CREE performance is good, 2008 fiscal year Q3 revenue quarter increased by 8.8%, an annual increase of up to 22.3%

American LED large manufacturers in 12 days after the release of the 2008 fiscal year in the fourth quarter (to June) earnings, revenue reached $135 million 900 thousand, compared with the previous quarter growth of 8.8% (YoY +22.3%). Gross profit margin of 33.7%, the profit margin of 27.6%, earnings per share amounted to $0.09, the cumulative gain of $0.15 in the first half. The inventory dropped from $83 million 400 thousand to $80 million 200 thousand, inventory days from more than and 90 days to eighty days, the market should be positive benefits for LED.

Looking into the next quarter (7 to September), Cree expects revenue in the quarter between $138 million to $142 million, compared with the previous quarter growth of 19%~22%. Earnings per share will range from $0.06 to $0.08, better than market expectations.
