"12th Five-Year" will be the key period of China's semiconductor lighting technology innovation and industrial development, suggestions do 3 tasks: one is to strengthen the integration of application system development, high reliability and low cost of the standardization of the general lighting products, promote the localization of the chip, and the cultivation of general lighting applications market; two is to reduce the cost key equipment and supporting materials, to promote the localization of exploring a new technical route, breakthrough of white LED core patents; three is to cultivate international competitiveness of leading brands.

According to the development of semiconductor lighting industry in China, the author puts forward some suggestions as follows:

1 in order to promote the development of the application and cultivation of functional lighting market, improve energy-saving lighting service system, and participate in the formulation of leading the new lighting standards in the world, stimulate technological innovation, through the development of energy-saving and environmental protection products for the industrial policy and implementing rules, and guide enterprises to increase R & D investment. In the early stage of the growth of the industry, it is an important guarantee for the enterprises to participate in the international competition under the guidance of the government, which is the integration of the market oriented technology system and the opening up of the internal market.

2 focus on resources, sustained and stable support for basic research and development, a breakthrough in the future of white light ordinary lighting core technology, the establishment of long-term mechanism and innovative environment and atmosphere, the next round of competition in a dominant position. To closely track the GaN (Dan Huajia) materials and devices, to achieve localization of major equipment, while focusing on the sustainable development of resources.

3 take targeted measures to cultivate and support the core competitiveness of the leading brand enterprises, and guide the rational distribution of industry. Should be established as soon as possible to the enterprise as the main national engineering and technology center, the establishment of joint investment, risk sharing, the results can be transferred, the interests of the cooperative development mechanism can be shared. Local governments should promote the development of regional industry characteristics and cluster.

4 strengthen overall planning, optimize the industrial development environment, and guide the healthy development of the industry.
