Ericsson sued Samsung said it GSM a total of three patent infringement

Ericsson has indicted Samsung, accused of infringing their patent.

Ericsson spokesman Ase Lindskog on Friday announced: we have in the United States, Britain, Germany and Holland sued Samsung, on the grounds of patent infringement."

She said: we sued Samsung's reason is that they and Ericsson patent contract expired in December 31st last year. They are using a mobile phone patent without permission."

Samsung declined to comment.

In the technology industry, patent infringement lawsuit is quite common.

Last year, Ericsson complained to the European Commission, Qualcomm in the mobile phone chip market competition. Qualcomm later filed a patent lawsuit against NOKIA GSM.

Lindskog said that Samsung in GSM, GPRS and EDGE three technical areas infringed the patent of ericsson.

"It's unfortunate, but we have to protect our shareholders and investors. Over the past few years, we have invested a lot of money in R & D," she said."
