Guangdong's energy saving and environmental protection cake has reached 600 billion in 2015.

The Guangdong provincial government issued the opinions of the general office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government on promoting the development of energy saving and environmental protection industry. By 2015, the total output value of energy conservation and environmental protection industry reached 600 billion yuan.

To cultivate a number of energy conservation and environmental protection backbone enterprises, the annual output value exceeds 5 billion yuan of enterprises reached 10, and over 1 billion yuan enterprises reach 50, and gradually develop the energy conservation and environmental protection industry into one of the new pillar industries in Guangdong Province, so as to provide strong support for Guangdong's "energy saving and emission reduction target" in 12th Five-Year.

According to the opinion, Guangdong will promote energy saving and environmental protection products, including speeding up the promotion of industrial energy saving technology and equipment, vigorously promoting energy-efficient electrical appliances, promoting the industrialization of LED green lighting, and promoting new energy vehicles.
