ISuppli:07 China semiconductor market revenue will increase by 15%

According to foreign reports, market research firm iSuppli said that due to strong growth in the third quarter, China's semiconductor market in 2007 sales revenue will reach iSuppli forecast growth rate of 15%.

ISuppli said China's semiconductor market in 2007 sales revenue is expected to grow from $45 billion in 2006 to $52 billion. This marks the first time China's semiconductor market revenue exceeded $50 billion.

Horse, a senior analyst at iSuppli, a Chinese research firm, said strong demand in the third quarter of the middle market helped semiconductor manufacturers achieve sales revenue targets for Liu. At the same time, despite the appreciation of the renminbi and oil prices, China's exports of electronic products is still significantly increased.

China's motor control inverter, security and surveillance systems and automotive electronics and other industrial control systems have led to real growth. Major semiconductor manufacturers have benefited from the growth of these markets, because these manufacturers in the past few years to launch a positive promotional activities and a wide range of product portfolio. For this reason, it is difficult for new manufacturers to enter the emerging market.

ISuppli said China's telecommunications equipment market is also strong growth. For example, China's domestic mobile phone design in 2007 shipments will reach 204 million, an increase of more than 58% in 2006. Electronic manufacturing service providers and original design manufacturers will continue to drive growth in shipments through outsourcing to China's electronic equipment orders.

However, in 2007 the first three quarters of China's mainstream consumer electronics shipments compared with the same period in 2006 is still relatively stable. Digital TV set-top boxes and digital still camera shipments in 2007 will grow by 30%. LCD TV shipments in 2007 will double.

ISuppli predicts that in 2008 China's semiconductor market sales revenue will reach $58 billion, an increase of 12% over 2007.
