Infineon Corporation took the U.S. government electronic passport chip large single

Infineon Corporation refused to disclose the details of the size and value of the contract. The company said it was the first company to sign a contract with the U.S. government to provide security chips, is currently the only supplier.

Germany, Hongkong, Norway and Sweden and other countries of the electronic passport system also uses Infineon's security chip.
