Intel said that the center can provide a collaborative environment. In this environment, Intel will work with China's independent software developers and telecom equipment manufacturers to work together to make Intel communications technology into its customer oriented solutions. The center will invite China Telecom, China Unicom and ZTE, HUAWEI and other manufacturers to participate. In addition to supporting the China Telecom, the center is also responsible for supporting the development of independent software vendors and telecom equipment manufacturers throughout the Asia Pacific region.

It is reported that Intel has established a research center in the United States, in addition to Beijing, Belgium will also establish third centers. The three centers will work together to use virtual private network (VPN) technology to communicate and transmit telecom solutions developed by Intel and related communications industry companies. In addition, Intel also revealed that the recent establishment of IPTV demonstration platform, Chengdu, Dalian city China WiMAX pilot deployment in progress, Intel has launched a "Asia broadband movement plan, expected before the end of 100 in China to carry out a pilot test on the technology of WiMAX.
