Kenmos and Nano-Op supply LED backlight to DELL and Apple Com puter Inc

Kenmos Technology and Taiwan Nano photoelectric technology company to become a major supplier of DELL and apple computer notebook LED backlight,

Nano-Op has begun to supply 12.1 inch notebook LED backlight group to DELL computer and the notebook LED backlight group has been confirmed by apple through AU Optronics.

Nano-Op's LED notebook backlight shipments in November are just 10 thousand units, but Apple Corp orders are expected in December will rise to 90 thousand units.

Kenmos offers high-end models to DELL and Apple Com puter Inc through cmo. Kenmos in this supply is estimated to reach 200 thousand units in the fourth quarter, the first quarter of 2008 reached a total of 300 thousand units.

Other backlight group vendors have accelerated their pace of development in LED notebook backlight. Monthly shipments of Coretronic company during the fourth quarter reached 60 thousand -7 million units.

Radiant Opto-ELectronics currently has fewer than 20 thousand units of LED notebook backlighting, but has developed 10 different applications and all have been approved by the customer. Radiant shipments will surge in 2008.
