The development of LED in China started in 1960s. In the early stage, most of the domestic LED enterprises were packaging enterprises, all of which were imported from abroad. The development of domestic LED technology can not be separated from the scientific research institute. China's rapid development of the LED industry in Taiwan, a large number of chips exported to the mainland, coupled with the LED packaging technology matures, new enterprises involved in the mainland packaging industry, the formation of the overall industrial economic expansion. Third, the government has stepped up efforts to support industrial development. Changchun semiconductor factory, the state owned 746 factory, Suzhou semiconductor factory has carried out technical transformation, and combined with the research results of colleges and universities, and achieved good results. Fourth, the rapid growth of the market makes it difficult to meet the needs of mainland China's technological transformation, and thus a large number of chips from China's Taiwan, Japan imports, thereby promoting the development of LED packaging industry. Fifth, the industry generally agreed that the development of China's optoelectronics industry need to implement the combination of the following: the combination of investors and enterprises, research results and the combination of enterprises, the two sides of the Strait of technology and resources combined with the three.
