How to deal with? Recently, the reporter interviewed Chen Yansheng, chairman of China Lighting Electrical Association, the industry has brought a high voice.
China Construction News: 2009 for many industries are full of speculation year, I believe the lighting industry is no exception. As an industry association, you have a large number of data and information, according to the analysis of these information, what is your view on the development of the industry this year?
Chen Yansheng: Industry in the first half of this year will be more difficult. From last year's data, affected by the financial crisis, China's lighting products export growth is slowing down, at the same time, almost all kinds of lighting products exports showed a broad trend has changed, some kinds of products appeared negative growth. Thus, the current situation is not very optimistic about the industry as a whole. However, I guess the industry will rebound in the second half of the situation. Although the foreign market has not been restored, but the lighting electrical products demand is rigid, so the gradual recovery in the market, the product exports maintained two digit growth should be expected. Therefore, we also hope that domestic enterprises ready to wait for the opportunity to stabilize the economy.
China Construction News: at this stage, enterprises should do what work? How to broaden the market?
Chen Yansheng: for export enterprises, I think the current situation can be adjusted from two aspects. First, the product structure adjustment. Especially for large enterprises have the strength of funds, you can consider the direction of diversification of products. Two is to expand the export market. For example, when the financial crisis in the United States at the beginning of a lot of lighting companies have been feeling affected, which reminds companies to broaden the market, with different countries, different regions to establish business relations. In this case, the overall sales of the enterprise will not be affected by one or two customers, enhance the ability to resist risks.
China Construction News: just now you mentioned that after the market recovery, lighting appliance exports to maintain the growth rate of two digits can still be expected. So, the stage of export growth will change?
Chen Yansheng: growth point will change, energy efficient products will grow faster. At present, a lot of countries to eliminate incandescent project has been started, such as Australia on the provisions of the ban on imports this year, prohibit the sale of incandescent lamps. Now the international 1/3 incandescent lamp is produced in China, the future of these products will be smaller and smaller exports, enterprises should be prepared to do, timely transformation. There are two types of incandescent lamp production enterprises in China, one is the production of incandescent lamps and energy-efficient lighting products, and the other is only the production of incandescent lamps. For the latter, there is not much time left for them, companies should make plans as soon as possible. China Construction News: compared with export enterprises, China's domestic enterprises affected by the financial crisis is less? What are they going to do at this stage?
Chen Yansheng: domestic enterprises are divided into large enterprises and small and medium enterprises, in general, the growth rate of sales last year are worse than expected, especially small businesses have been more obvious. The impact of the real estate market as a result of the impact of the home should be said to be greater. I suggest that companies can pay more attention to the field of Engineering lighting. Last year, the construction of a large number of large sports venues to the Chinese lighting industry has brought a lot of opportunities, the state has invested a huge amount of money for infrastructure construction, roads, subways, stations...... There is no place where the project lighting, the company is currently doing is actively concerned about these infrastructure projects, seize the opportunity which contains.
Chinese Construction News: speaking of engineering lighting, we have also noticed that a problem is in some high-end venues, domestic brands with foreign brands there is still a certain gap, what is the reason?
Chen Yansheng: in fact, in recent years, the gap between domestic brands and foreign brands has become smaller and smaller. Of course, it can not be denied, with PHILPS, GE, OSRAM these well-known brands still exist gaps. I think the main reason lies in the number of internationally renowned companies have hundreds of years of development history, the enterprise has been very mature. At present, in addition to those high-end lighting, lighting products in fact, many of these brands are produced in china. I believe that the overall level of domestic brands can not be quick success and instant benefit, to step by step. For example, in recent years, a lot of people in the industry referred to the poor quality of the original lamps, so now many companies have begun to focus on R & D and original, but also put the appropriate financial support, which is the progress of the side.
If it comes to the gap with well-known brands, I believe that compared to hard power, soft power gap is actually more worthy of attention. At present, the training mechanism of China's light source is deficient, only the Fudan University has set up this specialty, and most of the trained talents are in service to foreign companies. We know little about this profession, lack of recognition, resulting in a lack of talent. If this problem can be solved, I think it can promote the development of the industry in the long run.
