OSRAM and LSGP to participate in Rowley lighting

August 29, 2007, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM OS) and LSG (Lighting Science Group Corporation) announced that OSRAM will use a dragon r in Rowley City Lighting Engineering (Golden DRAGON) optimization of digital lighting products (ODL) low hanging lamp to replace 12 lamp metal halide lamp (the 12 lamp metal halide lamp current is used for Avery C. Upchurch light for the government complex to the pedestrian tunnel between the municipal parking lot). Every ODL low hanging lamp comprises 112 Golden DRAGON LED light source, which has a high energy efficiency and save the OLD will be able to directly replace the low hanging lamp metal halide lamp or HID.

OSRAM said he was very pleased to work with LSG to participate in the lighting project in Rowley. With LSG lamps OSRAM advanced LED technology extends the scope of application to the industrial and commercial lighting market.

LSG said the partnership with OSRAM is a timely response to growing concerns about energy costs and environmental quality. OSRAM joined the lighting program to enhance its ability to bring energy-saving lighting for the city of Rowley, and is hoping to expand the use of LED lighting to other cities.

Rowley is the pioneer application of LED lighting, the LED lighting including garage and parking lot lighting, tunnel lighting, street lighting, building lighting, portable lighting and focus and sidewalk lighting, is expected to the end of the project in the autumn of 07 years.
