Seoul semiconductor and OSRAM signed a reciprocal license agreement"

Light emitting diode (LED) lighting technology manufacturer Seoul semiconductor announced that with OSRAM GmbH (OSRAM) Company signed a "white" and "visible" LED "reciprocal license agreement". OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is a wholly owned subsidiary of OSRAM GmbH, which also benefits from this agreement. The OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is one of the world's leading LED manufacturers, headquartered in Reagan, Germany (Regensburg).

The scope of the "mutual license agreement" covers the two companies' "white light" and the patent right, and the patent is related to "white" and "visible" LED. Under the agreement, Seoul semiconductor and OSRAM GmbH will work together to form strategic partners, and use each other's strengths to enhance their strength.

Under the agreement, both sides will not only be able to avoid each other's "white" and "visible" LED green lighting technology patents, and work together to safeguard the interests of these mutually shared patents.
