OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM Opto Semiconductors) recently launched a new mini projector OSTAR Projection, the 6 chip package system, the brightness of 120 lumens, the large size image will be displayed on the screen or the game projected to the wall, the high brightness display, create bright color effect for computer games.
Acting commodity group pointed out that the OSTAR Projection six chip products can provide a strong pocket LED projector monochromatic light source, providing its brightness, color and flexibility. Through this product, the user may not have to watch the game or other display content from the small screen display device in the future. The contents of the display to the wall after the projection, the user can enjoy large size, color rich content, farewell to squeeze in front of the small screen playing computer.
OSTAR Projection (617nm) with red, green and blue (517nm) (655nm) chip of each one, the number of colors and hues represent the product of the triangular display, can achieve the National Television System Committee (National TELevision Systems Committee, NTSC) standard 105%.
OSTAR Projection internal packaging of six chips, each area of 1mm2, using a trial and test of thin film technology, can effectively transfer the light generated on the surface of the chip. Due to the use of three kinds of light source, the product can make the pocket projector system brightness of 120 lumens. Through the optimization of the system, the brightness can reach 140 lumens.
OSTAR Projection metal core circuit board made of new materials, the thermal impedance of up to 2K/W, can effectively spread the heat generated. Two kinds of packaging, chip surface alignment is different, so that potential customers in the lighting system design has more flexibility. The new OSTAR Projection product life can be up to 50 thousand hours. OSRAM pointed out that this is equivalent to the continuous use of 5.7 years, far beyond the traditional projector lighting system life.
Due to the use of surface emitting technology, OSTAR-Projection can achieve very high brightness. It uses the latest on-board multi chip technology, so that the white point luminous flux reached 130lm~1800lm. Other features include: long service life; additional optical lenses; completely mercury free, in line with the latest environmental regulations. The new OSTAR light source can not only be applied to the battery type micro projector, but also can be used in the rear projection tv.
