PHILPS won first LED bulb CNS certification in Taiwan

Environmental protection and energy saving issues are popular, driving the LED lighting market. Taiwan Ministry of economic affairs standard Inspection Bureau LED lighting products CNS compulsory certification system, officially launched in July 1st.

The day before, PHILPS announced on July 3rd Taiwan Inspection Bureau issued the first batch of "standard ballast built-in LED lamp CNS certification". PHILPS pointed out that the general type LED bulb lamp through the electrical safety performance (CNS15436), (CNS15630), electromagnetic compatibility (CNS14115) of 3 large projects, including consumers pay more attention to the biological safety inspection (CNS15592). Among them, the "light biological safety" is for LED light source of human eyes, skin and other biological organ lesions testing and risk regulation, in which Blu ray is the focus of testing.

As a matter of fact, since July 1st, the Bureau has stipulated that all imported and newly produced LED bulbs must have CNS certification before they can be sold on the channel, and the accuracy of the packaging information is also subject to supervision.
