PI introduces a new off-line LED lighting driver circuit

Power Integrations (PI) with the latest development of the power conversion technology to launch a small amount of elements off-line LED lighting drive circuit. The circuit requires only 9 components to provide 40mA current, the output power of 0.5W, especially suitable for emergency exit signs, night lights and a variety of lighting products. The numbers for DI-92 devices using PI LinkSwitch-TN series IC of LNK302, is a constant current LED driver circuit with non isolated topology. The utility model has the advantages of few components, small size, light weight and low cost, and the material cost is only about 50 cents (batch number 10000). The circuit is an environmentally friendly device, the efficiency can reach 75%. DI-92 circuit design can be used for various global AC input voltage from 85V to 265V. It conforms to the EMI specification CISPR22B/EN55022B, margin of more than 8dB, in line with the two safety standards.
