SONY expects electronic components market supply will be tight

President SONY electronics company said on Wednesday, the company believes that with the sales of mobile phone and other portable devices market continued power supply, electronic components may appear relatively tense situation.

Stan Glass, President and chief operating officer of Sony Corp's electronics division, said at a meeting in New York, said: now a variety of electronic components have begun to appear in short supply situation." Glass added that the company will not have enough inventory to meet the needs of the U.S. market for a new generation of Blu ray format DVD player products.
