Shandong provincial government held a symposium on the development of semiconductor lighting industry in Ji'nan

In December 4th, the Shandong provincial government held a semiconductor lighting industry development forum in Ji'nan, the development of the province's scheduling of semiconductor lighting industry, analyzes the existing problems, research ideas and measures to accelerate the development of the requirements to cultivate the semiconductor lighting industry into a new bright spot in Shandong province high technology. At present, our province semiconductor lighting industry R & D capability in the domestic leading position, has a unique technological advantage, industry started early foundation, many products have reached the international advanced level, our province has been the development of semiconductor lighting industry technology and material conditions, through the efforts of the semiconductor lighting industry can create a new high-tech industry the development of the province. All departments and units at all levels must further unify their thinking, clear objectives, strengthen measures to promote the industrialization of semiconductor lighting technology, seize the commanding heights in the new round of industrial competition.

Wang Renyuan stressed that from the technical, industrial products, three aspects of scientific planning, improve supporting measures to promote the development of technology and innovation, strengthen basic research, to further consolidate the advantage and basis of our province in the upstream industry; to drive the development of industrialization, increase investment, break the bottleneck of development, vigorously develop the semiconductor lighting applications products; adhere to the industrial chain theory, accelerate the improvement of LED/LD (light emitting diode and laser diode) industry chain, from the formation of compound semiconductor materials and epitaxial wafer to the die manufacturing, packaging and application products complete industrial chain. To promote independent innovation, and actively cultivate talents, strengthen the construction of innovation system, to carry out a major technology projects and promote industrialization, breakthroughs in key technologies, promote the popularization and application of semiconductor lighting technology, construction of a number of independent intellectual property research laboratory, improve the ability of industrialization.
