TT uses Anotherm substrate instead of PCB, highlighting LED without heat dissipation!

TT electronics IRC Advanced Film component Division with Anotherm based technology departments provide board assembly of LED, the technology can be used for a variety of high brightness LED display applications, including game consoles and vending machines, outdoor signs and displays, emergency vehicle lights and buildings and general lighting.

IRC Anotherm heat conduction aluminum alloy substrate and the surface of the anodized insulation layer is insulated, and the screen printed on the insulating layer. It provides the effective thermal management technology, which is the key to effective LED work requirements, the substrate material to make the design engineer can directly install patch LED and other components in the material above, without the need for additional heat sink and hardware support, also reduced the relevant assembly cost.

On a Anotherm board, you can develop up to 3 layers of circuit layout. The Anotherm substrate has an insulating system consisting of a layer of anodized aluminum oxide, which produces a dielectric layer of about 0.035nm thick, providing an inorganic insulation that is not affected by temperature or exposure to chemicals. This structure allows the Anotherm technology to operate at extreme temperatures up to 175 degrees centigrade. Anotherm substrate meets the RoHS standard, this technology has also been applied to a variety of automotive applications.

The LED assembly prototype is available within 6 weeks, the price and the time required for the assembly of LED components on the custom board are different.
