The new push for Tailian electronic welding socket LED commercial lighting

TE Connectivity (TE Tailian electronic,) announced that its LED series -- without welding socket for NL2 type socket - COB-L fast terminal LED adds new members. This new product provides a reliable combination of mechanical and electrical connectors that connect the LED to the heat sink and enhances the TE's wide range of existing solder free LED sockets.

The LED connection method without manual welding offers many benefits. Welding is a time-consuming and laborious process, because it is difficult to weld the parts to the LED, and the spatter flux is likely to damage the LED area. In addition, the welding wiring is difficult to remove, and over time, will become a thin weakness, may greatly reduce the reliability of the connection. The heat in the welding process will be transferred to the LED, shorten its life. In contrast, the use of a non welded socket, a solid but removable connector, greatly improves the unity of the connection, and does not require the use of heat.

This integral connector assembly has a mature pierce connection method for TE 18 to 22AWG solid wire, 18 to 20AWG pre wiring and 18AWG strand. In the assembly process, the positioning function is used to place the LED into the socket, which simplifies the connection to the COB-L LED. This results in the mechanical protection of the LED ceramic edge. In addition, the integration of the polarization function to achieve a safe and durable connection, suitable for solid wire, stranded wire or electric wire. This makes the installation process extremely fast and easy, with only a minimum amount of manual work, thereby helping to reduce time and cost.
