Toshiba launched 12.1 inch LED backlight notebook

In June 5, 2007, Toshiba launched the new 12.1 inch RoHS compliant Portege R500 notebook, the notebook weighs less than 2.4 pounds (1.1kg), due to the use of LED as a backlight source, the power consumption is less than the traditional notebook, can work 8 to 10 hours in 6 when the full power battery core.
