Vodafone and SIEMENS cooperation construction company in Czech 3G network

SIEMENS group and Vodafone company in Czech recently signed a three year 3G wireless access network framework agreement. Under the contract, SIEMENS will build a large part of the company's 3G wireless access network, SIEMENS also provides equipment and network planning, optimization, including professional services. Network construction will be phased out.

SIEMENS will provide all necessary equipment for the construction of WCDMA wireless access network for Vodafone Czech, including base station, base station controller, power supply and antenna. SIEMENS will also provide network planning and optimization services to ensure high quality and efficient operation of the network.

By the end of 2006, Vodafone Czech will use its 3G network to provide customers with a package of mobile multimedia communications services, including video telephony, video transmission and high-speed Internet access.
